As with Regional Racing, a National Series is run, which
usually comprises 7 rounds held across the country.
Each rider competes for National ranking points and a Series
trophy. Riders who achieve high rankings can qualify to
be invited to compete in the European and World
Championships.
National events regularly attract over 300 riders and the riders
have their main practice session on the Saturday
afternoon with racing starting at 1000 on Sunday. As
with Regional racing, there are competitive classes for
6 and Under’s to 40+ (25+ for the ladies) and every
rider has at least four races during the day – over 250
races in under 6 hours!
