For
the second Regional Series Race in a row the sun shone brightly
this time a little too brightly on the BMX racers at the fifth
round of the Series race at Peterborough. The host club has just had
two of the berms covered in tarmac to make it one of the fastest
tracks in the country and it is due to host round 5 of the National
Race Series on July 23rd. The members of the Royston Rockets BMX
Racing Club were again out to gain points for their Regional rankings
and qualification to the British Championship later in the year.

a fine 3rd which was enough for the judges to award him
with Rider of the Day with team mate Bradan Blanche taking a
well earned 7th and in the B final, Aaron Dalleywater
took the win with Zak Foreman in 3rd.
Moving up to the 9-10 year group two Rockets made the A
Final with James Handleigh taking 3rd and Louis Burton
finishing in 7th and in the class B Final Kyle
Gutteridge raced to 4th. The 11-12 year class saw Cameron
Howard take 4th in the A final whilst in the B

retire after just two races. In the 13-14 year class, Wayne Gutteridge

40+ class Leroy Seaton held on for 2nd with Paul
Bateman taking 4th place overall.
