2005 Club Membership

If you were not at the last club afternoon, your 2005 Membership Form is enclosed. Please complete the form clearly in ink and return it on a club afternoon or to the address at the top. Also, make sure you have applied for your racing licence from British Cycling – licences, like Royston club membership run from January to December!

Rider Competition

We are running a competition for all club members. We would like you to design an A4 size poster to promote the clubs Winter Regional event on February 20^th – the important things to cover are the name of the event – BMX Racing Winter Regional Round 4, where it is – Burns Road BMX Track, the date – 20^th February and the time – Registration closes at 12-00. Also add bits like spectator entry is free, racing for all ages – both boys and girls. All entries must be with Maureen Townsend by February 1^st and the winning entry will be used around the town and the rider will get free race entry.

Winter Regional Series Dates – Formula Racing – 5 classes

Round 2     Milton Keynes – Cancelled in November and date to be re-arranged

Round 3     Braintree 16th January

Round 4     Royston 20th February

Round 5     Ipswich 20th March

Registration closes at 12 noon and racing is £5.

Don’t forget if you have a BMX Pit Bike (16” wheels) there is now a class to race it in!

Club Sunday Afternoons 2005 – gates open 2-00pm

The club has arranged with VB Trophies for Club Mugs to be available

–         if we can get enough orders they will be £5 each! If you are interested

please let Maureen know as soon as possible how many you want.
