Sports
Quiz – Royston and District Sports Council – 12th
November
The
club only entered one team this year – team name was “Last
again” and we lived up to the name with yet another last place
although we nearly lost our record as we were only one point behind
the next team and we got over half the questions right! If you have
a good memory and are a sports buff make it a date for next year.

Club
Presentation and Ten Pin Bowling Evening – 12th December
The
Club Presentation evening at Hollywood Bowl in Stevenage Leisure
Park was great fun with everyone getting chance to make fools of
themselves although some “who had never been bowling before”
clearly had a large dose of “beginners luck”! After nearly two
hours of bowling the club presentation was held in the Café and, as
well as the club summer series trophies, the following awards were
presented;
Shane
Keeler Memorial Trophy – For the most dedicated member went to
Louis Burton
Rob
Indri Memorial Trophy – For the most improved rider went to James
Handleigh
Club
Rider of the Year – For the most successful rider went to Ethan
Lewis (Regional #1 and British Champs Finalist)
Club
Member of the Year - Shared between Phil Burton, Richard Lewis, Kevin
Handleigh and Durrell Gutteridge in recognition of all the work they
have done over the last few years.
There
are a few photos on the web site but if you have any more we would
like to put them up.
